Durvigo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
- Business information: Business name, owner name, category, city, area, phone number, WhatsApp number, services, hours, and other details provided by business owners when creating a listing. Approximate location (latitude/longitude) is stored when provided to improve local search results.
- Usage data: Page views, searches, and button clicks (call/WhatsApp) collected anonymously to improve the service.
- Device data: For the mobile app — device type, operating system, and a push notification token used to send you alerts about your listing. These are used only for app functionality.
- Phone number: Used for OTP-based login verification. Your phone number is transmitted to our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely to send the verification code. We do not share phone numbers with advertisers or sell them to any third party.
How We Use Your Information
- To display your business listing on Durvigo.com
- To send OTP verification codes
- To improve search quality and directory organisation
- To generate aggregate analytics (total searches, popular categories)
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not share your phone number or business data with advertisers
- We do not track users across third-party websites
- We do not store payment information (Durvigo basic listing is free)
Business Listings
Business pages are publicly visible on Durvigo.com and may be indexed by search engines. The information you provide (name, phone, address, services) will be visible to anyone who visits your business page. Only list information you are comfortable making public.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following service providers who may process your data solely on our behalf:
- Twilio — transmits OTP SMS messages to your phone number for login verification.
- Expo — delivers push notifications to your device using a push token stored on our servers.
- OpenAI — processes the text you send in the AI assistant to generate your business listing. Conversations are not used to train third-party models.
These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
Data Retention
Business listings remain active as long as the business owner's account is active. Owners can permanently delete their listing at any time from the app dashboard. After deletion, the listing is removed from public search results and the Durvigo directory immediately.
